The shape you see is the shape of my school from satellite. It is embossed and creates an illusion of an actual 3D building from satellite.
The photo in the shape is the main entrance in my school.
It is not easy to uncover the scenes of the past, maybe just as hard as sketching out the future says Paul Valéry. But a task this complicated is assigned to photography.
Both graduate classes have made their own photo narrative story about “memory”. The subject is favorable for interpretation so in the end we have two different stories on how we reflect our memories nowadays.
Despite the fact that memory is one of the most subjective and untrustworthy sources of information, it’s still the most precious, adaptable and always favorable collection of reality, which to some extent we all own.
